The SandBox UMX2 offers exceptionally cost efficient PC to DMX connectivity in an ultra compact format. Connect the UMX2 with a USB cable to your laptop or desktop running lighting control software and you have a complete lighting control system ready to go. The UMX2 is also an excellent input device for visualization software like WYSIWYGä, Martin ShowDesignerä, Captureä.

The SandBox UMX2 is equipped with 2 bi-directional ports for up to 1,024 DMX inputs or outputs. The DMX connectors are located on the front of the unit and are complimented by separate input and output indicators for easy monitoring.

The SandBox UMX2 is available with 3 different connector configurations; 2 male XLRs, 2 female XLRs, or one male and one female XLR, offering the optimal solution for your everyday application.

SandNet LocalLink provides a unique utility that allows you to connect the SandBox UMX2 to PC based lighting controls running manufacturer specific or open “DMX over Ethernet” protocols. This eliminates the need for system specific USB drivers and facilitates USB connectivity for a wide range of popular PC based lighting control systems and visualizers.
