The SandBox EMX2/10 is the first member of a new generation portable Ethernet to DMX devices that will open up for exciting new applications and possibilities in the world of lighting control networks. The compact and rugged package facilitates DMX-on-Demand?, a concept that makes it possible to employ the EMX2/10 when and where you actually need DMX.

The SandBox EMX2/10 hosts a powerful processor and protocol stack that supports a comprehensive set of networking standards in addition to today’s manufacturer specific and open “DMX over Ethernet” protocols. This offers an exceptional level of connectivity enabling DMX input and output from a wide variety of lighting control systems from industry leading manufacturers. The EMX2/10 supports 10BaseT and all the standard network protocols for easy integration with most Ethernet topologies.

The SandBox EMX2/10 works well in small stand-alone systems with only one or two devices, as well as in networks with a large number of different consoles, dimmers, moving lights, scrollers, and other DMX devices. The EMX2/10 is also a native SandNet device for applications with extensive requirements for network processing, management, and monitoring.
